Ambassador Dr. Arit Fuller-Harris is a distinguished philanthropist, humanitarian, educator, and founder whose life has been shaped by an enduring commitment to helping others. As the Founder of The Arit Fuller Foundation, Inc., she has dedicated her life to empowering individuals, strengthening families, supporting children, and creating opportunities for people and communities in need.
Her passion for humanitarian service began during her childhood. Raised by parents whose lives reflected generosity, hospitality, and compassion, Dr. Fuller-Harris witnessed firsthand the importance of caring for others. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fuller, opened their home to people in need and demonstrated through their actions that true service begins with compassion.
A Journey That Shaped Her Calling
Dr. Fuller-Harris's own life journey further deepened her understanding of the struggles faced by vulnerable people.
At one point in her life, she left Lagos and later traveled to the United States in search of a new beginning. During this period, she encountered numerous children affected by broken homes and difficult family circumstances. Having experienced challenges in her own journey, she developed a profound connection with these children and felt compelled to help.
Rather than simply observing their circumstances, Dr. Fuller-Harris chose to respond with compassion. Her experiences strengthened her determination to help vulnerable children and families find guidance, support, hope, and opportunities for a better future.
Founding a Vision of Service
In 2002, Dr. Arit Fuller-Harris took a significant step toward transforming her vision into organized humanitarian action by establishing The Arit Fuller Foundation, Inc., with the support of her then-husband, Mr. Harris.
The establishment of the Foundation marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life—one centered on organized service, philanthropy, community development, and a commitment to making a lasting difference.
What began as a personal passion for helping others grew into a broader humanitarian vision: to empower people, strengthen communities, and give hope to those facing difficult circumstances.
Education, Leadership & Empowerment
Dr. Fuller-Harris has pursued her calling with both compassion and education.
She completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Theology and Counseling at Macedonia Theological Seminary. Her commitment to early childhood education and human empowerment also earned her an honorary doctoral degree from South Carolina University, according to the Foundation's biographical materials.
Her educational background has strengthened her work with children, families, communities, and individuals facing difficult circumstances, allowing her humanitarian vision to be supported by both experience and a deep commitment to personal development.
Compassion in Action
For Dr. Fuller-Harris, philanthropy is not simply about giving—it is about seeing a need and taking action.
One example of her humanitarian work involves Ernest, a young Ghanaian man who had lost hope of pursuing his nursing dreams because of financial hardship. After encountering Ernest on the street and learning about his circumstances, Dr. Fuller-Harris intervened and provided support that enabled him to continue his nursing education. He subsequently completed his studies and graduated from nursing school.
Her humanitarian commitment has also extended to individuals facing serious health challenges. In another case, Dr. Fuller-Harris learned about a woman diagnosed with cancer who was unable to afford the medical care she needed. She stepped forward to help provide support and resources for the woman's care.
These stories reflect a central principle of Dr. Fuller-Harris's life and leadership:

Investing in the Next Generation
Dr. Fuller-Harris's commitment to education extends beyond individual acts of assistance.
She has also contributed one million books to support students in Akwa Ibom State, helping advance educational opportunities for young people and contributing to the development of the education sector.
Her work reflects her belief that education is one of the most powerful tools for transforming lives, expanding opportunity, and strengthening communities.

Distinguished Ghanaian-American pastor, educator, humanitarian, entrepreneur, and community leader whose life reflects an unwavering commitment to faith, service, education, and empowering the next generation.
Raised in the Bronx, New York, Rev. Sarpong is a proud product of the New York City public school system. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Management from Lehman College and a Master of Science degree in School Building Leadership from Mercy College, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He was later awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Divinity in recognition of his commitment to ministry and service.
With more than two decades of experience in education, Rev. Sarpong has dedicated his career to student development, school culture, mentorship, family engagement, and creating pathways for young people to succeed academically, socially, and personally.
He is the Founder and CEO of Helping Hand World Outreach, Inc., established in 2022 to strengthen underserved communities through local and international missions, humanitarian relief, educational support, youth empowerment, and community development.
As Director of the Arit Fuller Foundation, Inc., Rev. Sarpong contributes strategic leadership to humanitarian, philanthropic, community engagement, and international initiatives designed to uplift lives and build meaningful partnerships.
A pastor with a servant’s heart and a visionary commitment to people, Rev. Sarpong believes true leadership is measured by the lives transformed and communities strengthened through service.
He resides in Westchester County, New York, with his wife and their three wonderful children.
